What We Offer

Admission Requirements

You must be at least 17 years old. Not all of our programs require a HS diploma or GED (if not yet graduated, you will need your legal guardian). 18 years or older for Medication Aide. Social Security card, valid ID or drivers license. You cannot be listed as unemployable on the Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR) and cannot have been convicted of a criminal offense as listed in Texas Health and Safety Code 250.006. Must have a current TB test.  

Nurse Aide Program Class Schedule

The class days vary. The class is 4 weeks long. For next Nurse Aide Program Class start dates please call us.
Classroom and Lab Attire- Must be dressed appropriate on classroom days and in Grey 
Scrubs on clinical days. The cost of this class is $625. (This does not include the state testing fee of $125)

American Heart Association

BLS/CPR,Heartsaver, first aid cost $65.

ACLS Initial/Expired- $200 Renewal- $150.

Medication Aide Program

Applicants must be employed as certified nurse aides listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry in active status and currently employed in a facility licensed under Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter 242 on class start date or employed on class start date as non-licensed direct care staff in a facility licensed under Chapter 247; a state supported living center or ICF/IID and have 90 days previous employment in the year preceding the class start date. The cost is $800.

Phlebotomy Program

This course is only 4 weeks long. You will attend class 3 days a week. You will have hands on training. Graduates of this course will be prepared to obtain an entry-level position as a phlebotomist. Tuition for this course is $920. (This does NOT include the NHA testing fee of $125)

Medical Assistant Program

This course is 10 weeks long. They are responsible for administrative as well as clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting physicians with exams, and performing front-desk tasks. Medical assistants typically work in physician's offices, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. The cost for this class is $1,999. (This does not include the NHA exam fee)
